According to Acts 19:9,10 Paul spent two years reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannous. So from Paul's prospective attending a one hour worship service once a week was just not enough. Disciples should get together daily and study the Word.
In Acts 6:1-7 people often focus on the first deacons being chosen but miss something interesting. I did as well until today. The twelve did not want to leave teaching the Word to handle the daily distribution of food. Daily they were in the Word of God.
If people think Pastors are unrealistic in expecting you to attend church twice on Sunday and once on Wednesday then they certainly would have a problem with the twelve and Paul. They thought good Christians meet daily.
